Our kids surprised us with a pair of tickets to see George Jones in concert for Valentine's Day !!
Oscar, dear hubby, loves "Old No Show George". We had never seen him before, so this was a wonderful treat.
In fact, the last concert I went to, was a John Denver concert.:)
We saw Jason Byrd and The Roys. Both performances were good but George was the best!
I am not a great country music fan but he does sing my favorite country song,"He Stopped Loving Her Today"
It was great to hear him sing it live and in person.
He might be as old as my dad but he sure can sing. Sorry dad, you can sing too, but you don't hold a candle to "the Possum".

Glad that you had a great time!! Sounds like it has been a while since you went to a concert. Me too!! Been awhile!! i had a big birthday celebration yesterday on my blog!! We had fun there. Virtual cake and punch!! Smile.
