9/21/18 We left Bloomingdale after 6 pm. Stopped at Crackle Barrel in Dublin, Ga Thanks to Karen N. for that birthday gift card!!
Bought gas in Locust Grove, Ga $28.85
Drove to Jasper, Alabama. Spent the night at Holiday Inn Express. $106.95
Weather had been in the 90's. Got up Saturday morning, had breakfast at the hotel, drove to Oklahoma.
9/22/18 Day two
Bought gas in Hamilton, Ala at 8:52 am $29.
Gas Superstop Little Rock, Ark 3:03 pm $31.
Walked around Walmart in Clarksville, Ark to get some relief, bought windshield wipes and an apple. Rained all the way through Arkansas!
Day 2
Reached Sand Springs about 9 pm. Way to long a drive!!
Bought Gas in Bay St. Lo $2.65. $27.08
Stopped at McDonalds in Tulsa for supper. We were tired and grumpy!
Enjoyed the company of our hosts, Ray and Myrna White. Enjoyed meeting Ray Becca.
WE worshiped at 38th Church of Christ and lunch at the White's with Andy and RayBecca. Spent the night.
Left Monday, drove to Shamrock, Tx (Route 66). Gas in Sand Springs was $2.69. $31.00

I was sick! Crud, running fever. Prayed for the fever to leave and let me have a good trip. Next morning, fever gone, feeling better, but really bad congestion. Spent the 25th riding to Chuck's. Drove thru the country above Oklahoma city and missed our turn to Amarillo to I-27. Took tx 60 down. Thru the country.
September 25- Arrived in Seminole, Tx. I got to see my brother for my birthday!
Denise and I both have the crud. Glad I didn't bring them a nasty present! We spent the next few days meeting my nieces and nephews and their spouses. Seeing the area . Cold front came thru. Cold!
